A film as colorful as Christoph Daum’s life

A documentary about former coach Christoph Daum premieres on his 70th birthday. The film is more of a tribute to a special person than a search for unknown details.

The setting is festive, lots of famous people came to a Cologne cinema on Tuesday to celebrate Christoph Daum’s 70th birthday and to see the premiere of a film about the famous football coach. But – and this is probably a phenomenon that is firmly connected to this person – there is something else just beneath the surface: Daum used to always be accompanied by a feeling of doubt or skepticism, but on this evening behind the solemn facade a worry, a hint of sadness can be felt .

Daum suffers from lung cancer.
