“Thomas is Bayern Munich, and Bayern Munich is Thomas,” said Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel recently in the media debate about the future of star attacker Thomas Müller with the German record champions (read more about this here). In fact, hardly any other footballer in Germany has such roots in his club – as well as in the region.
The 33-year-old has remained loyal to Bavaria since 2000 – and has his professional and private life centered in the Free State.

The family
Müller and childhood sweetheart Lisa have been married since 2009. She is a professional horse breeder and is also active as a dressage rider – including at national and international tournaments.
Curious anecdote: The couple starred in the episode “War of the Roses” of the ARD crime series “Hubert and Staller” in 2017. Also there: a dog named “Ronaldo” who the two of them take for a walk in the forest – and who then tracks down a corpse.
Thomas and Lisa Müller now own their own riding stables in Otterfing near Munich, and the couple have also built a house not far from there.
Nothing is publicly known about his desire to have children, but in 2018 the Bayern striker told the magazine “Bunte”: “Our animals are like our children and we currently have a lot of them that we can look after.” In addition to horses, this probably also means the two dogs Mickey and Marble.
The contract

The car
Since this summer, Müller has been driving an Audi RS e-tron GT from his club partner, as have eleven other players from the German record champions.
The four-door coupé is fully electric, has a top speed of 250 km/h and costs at least 145,500 euros.
