Vincent Kompany had imagined his debut as a coach in the Premier League somewhat differently. Things are going from bad to worse.
Burnley was also unable to achieve anything against the wandering Manchester United on Saturday evening. Kompany’s team lost 0-1 after a goal by Bruno Fernandes. Mike Tresor came off the bench for Burnley after 20 minutes, Manuel Benson played in the final minutes.
1 in 15 is the sad balance for Burnley. It is already very clear that it will be a tough relegation battle for the club and that it will not be easy to achieve retention. So Kompany is already in big trouble.
