Viktor Axelsen has had a distinguished visit to Dubai.
A visit where the Danish badminton player’s superstar factor was completely put to the wall.
Because the world-famous fynbo has met the American NBA star Stephen Curry at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, where Viktor Axelsen trains on a daily basis.
The Dane reveals this on Monday in a post on Instagram, where he has shared a photo of the meeting with the American. You can see the post at the bottom of the article.

‘It was a privilege to meet Stephen Curry and his team. An absolutely insane athlete. But Stephen Curry and the rest of the team impressed me even more with their enormous humility and kindness,’ writes the Dane, among other things.
For Axelsen, the meeting with the Golden State Warriors player was also a bit of a boyhood dream that came true after he has studied basketball players closely for several years.
‘As a young player, I got a lot out of watching NBA games and how the athletes moved around the court. So it was really inspiring to see Stephen Curry and the team in action,’ the Dane continues.
Viktor Axelsen has lived in Dubai since autumn 2021.
Since then, there have been numerous triumphs on the badminton court. Among other things, WC gold last year.
Recently, the Danish star also became historic, as he, as the first ever badminton player, has now managed to win all Super 1000 tournaments.
