The II FBCLM Children’s Mini Cup once again brought together the best regional basketball players in the category in a single day of competition. Valdepeñas Basketball not only served as host of the tournament, in this women’s team it was the clear dominator in the league played between the four teams that played on the La Molineta court, winning their three games against Prado Marianistas, Group 76-Alkasar and CB Almansa , who ended up finishing the tournament in this same order. Victory therefore with three out of three for Monchi’s pupils who in this way achieve the title that will allow them to start the season with an important victory under their belt.
In the men’s team there were two clear dominators of the tournament who would end up facing each other in the grand final. While in Group A CB Almansa went undefeated with three victories over Zona 5 Toledo, CP La Roda and Iberfirmes CB Daimiel, in Group B the EBA did the same with Prado Marianistas, Dentatis Puertollano and Baloncesto Valdepeñas. Three out of three for both teams and appear undefeated in the grand final. There the Almansa team was going to be clearly superior to its rival, achieving a resounding victory and starting the year with the Cup title for its showcases.
