Usman Garuba Joins Golden State Warriors for Next Season, Confirms Sources

The international center with Spain and former Atlanta Hawks player, Usman Garuba, has reached a dual agreement to play next season for the Golden State Warriors, sources from The Athletic confirmed.

Garuba, who was practically a foot and a half in Real Madrid, finally puts aside his return to Spain to try again in the NBA, and specifically in one of the best franchises of the last decade.

Trained in the Real Madrid basketball team and selected by the Houston Rockets with their 23rd pick in the first round of the 2021 Draft, in the NBA he has averages of 2.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 12.2 minutes in 99 official games .

On July 1, 2023, he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks along with TyTy Washington, but a week later he was traded again to the Oklahoma City Thunder and was later released.
