Trophy Cup: 1860 Munich wins 8-0 in Hain – Sport

TSV 1860 Munich shot the frustration of the last three league defeats out of its soul and won 8-0 at DJK Hain in the round of 16 of the Bavarian Toto Cup on Tuesday evening.

The district league team from Lower Franconia had little to oppose against the third division team on their home artificial turf. Finn-Luca Lakenmacher, who replaced regular center forward Joel Zwarts, started the win with a 1-0 lead in the third minute, Tarsis Bonga went on to make it 2-0 (14th minute). Shortly before the break, the lions scored four times in seven minutes: Marlon Frey (40th), again Lakenmacher (42nd) and again Bonga with a double strike (44th and 45th + 1) increased to 6:0 at halftime.

Löwen coach Maurizio Jacobacci made six changes to his starting XI compared to the home defeat against Aue, including David Richter in goal instead of Marco Hiller. After the break, the coach happily changed again, the Löwentruppe took things a little easier, but scored two more goals: Substitute Milos Cocic scored to make it 7-0 (53rd), Löwenstriker Tarsis Bonga scored his fourth goal of the day the final score of 8:0.

“I’m very happy. We took the game very seriously and scored quick goals,” said Löwen coach Jacobacci after the game at dieblaue24 about the appearance of his B formation. “It was a good training gallop, where everyone took part. It was also important to me that nobody got injured, especially on the artificial turf. We’re happy that we’re one lap ahead.”

SpVgg Unterhaching, on the other hand, missed the quarter-finals. The Hachinger, who are still unbeaten in the third division, lost 0:3 (0:1) at regional league club Illertissen. Landesliga club Türkgücü Munich, meanwhile, won 2-1 against Buchbach after falling behind with two late goals (80th, 90th + 3). However, Wacker Burghausen’s race to catch up in Pipinsried (3:3 after 1:3) was not rewarded. FC Pipinsried won the penalty shoot-out 5-4. The winner of the Toto Cup receives a starting place for the DFB Cup.
