Transporters demolish the Public Ministry of Arcelia, Guerrero, with heavy machinery – El Sol de México

With the support of heavy machinery and without any authority preventing them, residents of Arcelia, in Guerrero, demolished the Public Ministry facilities in retaliation for the death of a young man when he hit a Mexican Army truck.

The events occurred after residents confronted the Army elements, who were detained for a few moments and who had to use their weapons in response to the citizens’ attempt to lynch them in demand of justice for the death of the young man.

It was the young Miguel Ángel, 23 years old, who hit the official vehicle head-on during a patrol carried out by the military forces.

The victim was taken to a Health Center, but due to his injuries he was transferred to a private clinic and it was outside this building where citizens gathered and detained the soldiers.

Immediately afterwards, transporters were mobilized and crossed vehicles in the streets, and at one point, even a rollover was going to be used to hit the official van and the troops, and it was at that moment that they fired shots to dissuade the population.

Now without sunlight, the residents organized themselves and, hooded, went to the Héroes Surianos neighborhood, and with the support of two excavators they began to demolish the building that housed the Public Ministry.

The people who were in that place shouted and demanded that the Army leave the town, and also shouted other slogans such as “murderers.”
