A statement from the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) highlights that a helicopter identified as AN 141 is missing.
The report indicates that the aircraft reported its departure from Punta Rincón, near the coasts of the Caribbean and the Central Mountain Range, bound for the province of Veraguas.
At the moment it has only been reported that the aircraft is missing and that the search is continuing using four helicopters without information from the crew.
The helicopter left the aforementioned place in the morning and still in the afternoon it was not clear what its true situation is.
It is expected that this Monday the Panamanian authorities will submit a report or discovery of the National Aeronaval Service aircraft.
