Norderstedt (em) On the weekend of September 16th/17th, 2023, the annual Swan Cup of TS Einfeld took place in Neumünster. The TuRan young judoka were represented with a small delegation and were able to gain a lot of experience under the care of the Norderstedt trainer Daniel Busse.
In the U18 and up to 52 kg age group, Annemarie Kalbe took first place and secured the gold medal.
In the male U15, Maximilian Busse competed up to 43 kg and Lyon Kidmann up to 60 kg. Maximilian lost both of his fights and remained unplaced. Things went better for Lyon, who won his first three fights and unfortunately only lost in the final. So he secured the silver medal.
In the female U15, Liv Striebeck and Isabella Frisch both competed up to 57 kg. Liv lost the first fight but was able to win her second. Unfortunately, she lost the third fight again and came fifth. Isabella was also able to deliver the same performance and thus achieved fifth place.
“This year we are only represented here in Neumünster with a small delegation. Our judoka performed well and we had a great day!” says coach Daniel Busse, praising the performance of his protégés.
