The Roland-Garros Stadium Transforms into Padel Courts for Greenwez Paris Major

For the second year, the courts of the Roland-Garros stadium have slipped ocher dust under an electric blue carpet, that of the padel courts which have hosted the Greenwez Paris Major since last Sunday. Six tennis courts, including Philippe-Chatrier, have seen glass cages measuring 10m by 20m set up in the middle of which the best in the world compete. The metamorphosis is visually spectacular to the point that we almost forget that this is indeed Rafael Nadal’s garden where he held up the Coupe des Mousquetaires 14 times in front of nearly 16,000 spectators each time.
