The rag burns between Victor Osimhen and Naples after the broadcast of a video on social networks

The Napoli striker Victor Osimhenwho previously played at Wolfsburg, Charleroi and Lille, reserves “the right to take legal action” against his own club after it posted a video on TikTok appearing to mock the player.

The video contained a clip of the striker’s missed penalty in the match against Bologna last Sunday, with a strange, sped-up voice overdubbed. The strange clip posted on social networks comes after the “clash” appeared between Osimhen and the Naples coach, Rudy Garcia, during the match. The Nigerian did not appreciate being substituted in the 86th minute when the score was 0-0.

L’agent d’Osimhen, Roberto Calendaposted a statement on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday evening about the incident: “What happened today on the official Napoli profile on the TikTok platform is unacceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, belatedly, deleted. A serious fact which causes very serious damage to the player and which adds to the treatment that the boy suffered in the last period between the media trials and the fake news. We reserve the right to take legal measures and any useful initiative to protect Victor.

According to Gazzetta dello Sportthe player would be mad with rage against his club and would even have stopped following Naples on social networks during the night… before reconsidering his decision. A departure from the winter transfer window seems more clear than ever.
