The National Final of the Evita National Games Kicks off with 25,000 Participants in Mar del Plata

The National Final of the Evita National Games will begin in Mar del Plata on Monday with 25 thousand participants from all over Argentina including athletes, delegations, doctors, assistants and organization. A week in which the city will also be represented in sports.

By 2023, women’s 11-a-side football, men’s figure skating, the Under 16 category of Mountain Biking, Paddle Tennis, Triathlon, the latter in both genders, and Archery for people with disabilities, were incorporated. With a total of 40 conventional disciplines and 12 for people with disabilities.

The accreditation of the delegations will be on Monday, at CEF N°1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then in Las Toscas, at 6 p.m., the opening ceremony will begin.

There will be a total of 59 local athletes who will make up the delegation of the Province of Buenos Aires in individual, team and sports for people with disabilities.

Likewise, the Municipal Sports Park and the Municipal Sports Centers will have extensive activity, with the majority of the venues affected by the Evita competitions: “Islas Malvinas” Sports Center Stadium, “Alberto Zorrilla” Swimming Pool, “Justo Román” Athletic Stadium, Municipal Hockey Center, “Adalberto Lugea” Skatepark, Centenario Sports Center, Colinas de Peralta Ramos, Las Heras and Libertad.

The local athletes who will participate in the Evita Games Final are detailed below:

Cycling: Martina Jiménez Ambrosio.Artistic Gymnastics: Josefina, María Dolores, Martina, Violeta, Jazmín, Martina, Julieta, Joaquina and Liz. Women’s Handball: Agostina Di Meglio and Lara Ridao D’Iorio. Deportive scenary

The competition will be divided into 44 establishments.

In the Sports Park the following will be used: Triathlon (Sports Park), the Municipal Hockey Center (hockey), the “Islas Malvinas” Sports Center (adapted 3×3 basketball, adapted table tennis, handball), the Municipal Natatorium “ Alberto Zorrilla” (aquathlon, swimming and synchronized swimming), the “Justo E. Román” Athletic Stadium (conventional and special athletics), “Adalberto Lugea” Skatepark (skate race), the Colinas Peralta Ramos Municipal Sports Center (boccia), the Municipal Sports Center of Las Heras (handball), Centenario Sports Center (handball) and Libertad Municipal Sports Center (handball)

For these reasons, regular activity in such scenarios will be reduced and, in many cases, interrupted. This will happen in the Municipal Natatorium, which will remain closed to users from Tuesday, September 26th to Friday, September 29th inclusive.
