Sunday, the first association forum organized by the Festival Committee on the Loir was held in the gymnasiums and on the lawns of Roche-Marie in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir.
Many visitors came to meet the 22 sports associations present, volleyball, twirling, archery, table tennis, tennis, Periwinkles, multisport and children’s gym, kayaking, karate, judo, handball, adult gym, gym, veterans football, Lhommois cyclos, nature run, horse riders, Castel dance, basketball, badminton. The ponies from the Tesserie stud farm took the little ones for a walk. Seniors learned about the sports offered by the local French Sports Retirement Federation. All have registered memberships and renewals.
Firefighters and Red Cross demonstrated equipment and know-how. The cultural and friendly associations showed their achievements: Friends of the organ, Intermunicipal music school, Tudo Bem for musicals, Caraibescale and Garden of sharing for conviviality, the Compagnie des arts for painting lessons for children and adults, the Association for the preservation of wash houses in the Loir Valley which raises awareness of the preservation of this small heritage.
