The Argentine Football Association (AFA) institutionalized the Argentine National Anthem performed by Abel Pintos as the official version that will be heard from now on in the preview of all the matches of the national teams, it was reported this Friday.
This version of the Argentine National Anthem is part of the album “Alta en el cielo”, recently released by Abel Pintos, for which he recorded and filmed eight emblematic national songs, such as the Hymn to General San Martín, the Hymn to Sarmiento, the San Lorenzo March, the Malvinas March, Aurora, To my flag and Salute to the flag.
In this way and joining the project of the artist who has charitable purposes, lThe AFA announced that in all the matches played by the national teams, the version of the Argentine National Anthem performed by Abel Pintos will be sung in this musical initiative.
For the interpretation of These eight patriotic songs and hymns, recorded in the auditorium of the Usina del Arte in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of La Boca, included the participation of the Academic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón and the direction of Ezequiel Silberstein.

All the material produced is hosted on the universal access site www.himnosargentinos.ar from where it can be downloaded for free, free of any copyright and royalty, by the more than 70,000 educational establishments in the country and by the community in general.
In addition, all royalties obtained from the reproductions of these songs will be donated in perpetuity by the artist to the José de San Martín Hospital de Clínicas, the Dr. Alfredo Lanari Medical Research Institute and the Ängel H. Roffo Institute of Oncology.

Likewise, as a complement to this material, an audiovisual documentary will be produced in which Abel Pintos himself narrates the historical references of each of these musical pieces, as well as the events or heroes to which they refer.
The Ministries of Education, the Interior and Culture of the Nation, the Ministries of Education and Culture of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, the University of Buenos Aires, the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires have collaborated with this project.
