The appointment on Saturday 9 September at the “PalaEnergica Paolo Ferraris” in Casale will be dedicated to basketball and solidarity, with the 1st “Paolo Filippi Memorial”, an event dedicated to the Casalese politician who was twice president of the Province of Alessandria and a great enthusiast. of basketball. The entire proceeds of the event will be donated to the Idea Onlus and Dream Angels associations, the latter created to remember Fabio and Tommaso Re Mariotti.
It will start at 4.30 pm with a women’s basketball match in which Autosped Bcc Derthona of Serie A2 will challenge Allianz Geas of A1, while at 8 pm the key match between coach Ramondino’s Bertram Derthona and Dolomiti Energia Trento.
During the evening, two awards will be awarded to honor the memory of two other great Alessandrian figures such as Paolo Berta (long-time president of Idea Onlus) and Fabio Bellinaso, to whom the MVP and MVP Under 23 awards of the two friendly matches are respectively named.
The presentation of the first edition of the “Paolo Filippi Memorial” took place on Monday in the Castellani Hall of the Alessandria Chamber of Commerce.
