France’s national coach Didier Deschamps will make changes in the friendly against the DFB team after the win against Ireland in the European Championship qualifiers. An ex-Frankfurter could benefit from this.

Former Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani could be part of the guests’ formation in the ailing German national soccer team’s next international match against France in Dortmund. French national coach Didier Deschamps hinted at this on the French television channel TF1.

Kolo Muani recently moved to Paris Saint-Germain for 95 million euros shortly before the end of the transfer deadline after refusing to take part in training at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Deschamps still called the 24-year-old into the squad for the current international matches, but did not use him in the 2-0 win over Ireland in the European Championship qualifiers in Paris. The coach of the World Cup runner-up justified this on Sunday by saying that Kolo Muani was only able to train with the team once after an ankle injury.

Several changes announced

On Saturday, the attacker completed a good training session with the players who were used little or not at all. “He is available for Tuesday,” said Deschamps, who described the game (9 p.m./ARD) against the DFB team, which lost 4-1 to Japan, as a prestigious game. Deschamps has announced several changes for the friendly, and the injured veteran Olivier Giroud is also missing from the attack.
