Over 200 children and teenagers met last weekend to take part in the first edition of ‘Sesta Sport Games’. An initiative to introduce young people to sport, promoted by the 6th District, which on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September gave the opportunity to try different disciplines, including basketball, football, judo, artistic and inline skating , parkour, rugby, volleyball.
A great sports celebration, which on the morning of Sunday 10th also saw the holding of some volleyball and basketball tournaments. Many young people and their families attended, who were able to experience together the sports they love most.
Also on Sunday, all the sports clubs that made the initiative possible with their generous contribution were awarded with a plaque from the 6th District. Present, in addition to the president of the 6th district Rita Andriani, was also the councilor for youth policies Jacopo Buffolo who underlined the importance of these activities which make the neighborhoods live and which involve young people making them protagonists.
