Klopp unlikely, Kuntz as a returnee?
Schmelzer believes a change from Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp is unlikely. The DFB cannot afford Klopp given the financial situation, and he is not free. Stefan Kuntz is also still tied to the Turkish national team. The former successful U21 coach might not be averse to returning to the DFB, even if the association once preferred Flick to him.
Also mentioned are Matthias Sammer and the Austrian Matthias Glasner, who would at least be on the market and who has already led Eintracht Frankfurt to the Europa League triumph.
