Spain and Brazil Poised to Host the Next NFL Game, Says Adam Schefter

Spain and Brazil are the countries that are closest to being the next to host an NFL game. This has been confirmed by Adam Schefter, his insider Most importantly, after receiving in your podcast a Peter O’Reilly, executive vice president of the league.

After Germany and the United Kingdomcountries in which the league has already established itself at the expansion level and where five games will be played this season, Spain and Brazil are in the pole to be next. According to Schefter, the main priority for the NFL right now is to continue advancing international expansion.

To do this, O’Reilly comments that the league has sent several commissioners to both Madrid, like Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulobeing the Metropolitano, but, especially, the new Bernabéu, the venues that the NFL is handling as possible hosts here in Spain.

It is worth remembering that the NFL awarded a distribution of rights marketing to the 32 teams in 14 countries on five continents. Among them, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears were assigned to Spain. This could be a clue as to which franchises we could see play the first game in NFL history on Spanish territory.
