ROVIGO – Thursday 7 September at Palazzo Nodari a moment of international sport with the senior Hungarian national baseball team. To do the honors the councilor for Sport Matthias Milan.
The team, accompanied by Alexander Boniolo president of Bsc Rovigo and the manager Lucio Taschin, will participate in the next European championships which will be held in the Czech Republic at the end of the month.
In Rovigo he will play two friendly matches.
“We are happy to welcome you and to welcome you from the whole administration and from the city – said the Milan councilor -. Thanks to Bsc Rovigo for organizing this meeting which represents an important added value for our territory with a touch of internationality and for the growth of sport”.
“It is an honor for us to host the Hungary national team – he said Alexander Boniolo president of Itas Mutua Bsc Rovigo – . This year we had 2 other Italian youth national teams in Rovigo who then won the silver medal at the European category and now here’s another recognition that also arrives at an international level. A group of American talents have just been our guests at the Via Vittorio Veneto facility and we are preparing to play 7 playoffs throughout Italy. An incredible effort that sees us really engaged at 360°. We continue to remain in Rovigo a sports center of great interest with 2 teams that are still playing in the Serie A championships.”
At the end of the meeting, the Milan councilor handed over a commemorative plaque and received a team cap.
