Basketball first division team Rostock Seawolves starts Saturday – with a cup game at BBL promoted team Vechta.
Coach Christian Held (35): “A great draw. Vechta is the toughest opponent we could face as a first division team. They have a good squad, prepared very well for the BBL in the summer, they bring the euphoria of promotion with them.” What makes it even more difficult: “Probably a full house. This narrowly built hall in which everything presses onto the field. It’s an incredibly difficult task for us because things aren’t that solidified so early in the season.”
