Mourning for Pistoia sport. At the age of 82, Adriano Pasquali, historic founder of Judo Kodokan Pistoia, the first Pistoia judo association, passed away in recent days. After an uncertain pioneering phase, driven by the desire to create the first judo school in Pistoia, he met and hired master Marino Tondini. After five years of training, Pasquali passed the national exams, obtaining promotion to black belt and the qualification of judo instructor, becoming the main teacher of the Judo Kodokan Pistoia. Several hundred students have followed one another over the years; many young and very young people, to whom he transmitted a fundamental ethical education and solid technical competence which contributed to their training, allowing Pistoia judo to achieve prestigious results in the regional, national and international fields. In short, Pasquali was the master of the masters of Judo Kodokan Pistoia.
