Twenty English clubs invested a total of £1.92 billion last year. This year, half (48 percent) of the team will rely on the total revenue of all five of the best leagues in Europe, including the Spanish LaLiga, the Italian Serie A, the Bundesliga and the French Ligue 1.
While last year on the day of transfers to the Premier League it did not break the 100 million pound mark, now it has fallen twice. Arsenal paid 100 million for Declan Rice and the fall bonuses can increase by another five million.
The kind of consecutive summer of record revenues for the Premier League club indicates that after the pandemic there could be an increase in the interannual growth of needs. This summer, the club spent more than a quarter of that, Tim Bridge of Deloitte told the BBC.
