Record audiences, success of fan zones, sale of jerseys: France is passionate about the Rugby World Cup

A Place de la Concorde overflowing in Paris, a boiling Filters meadow in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and “paquitos” in series on the Jardin Albert 1er in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes)… We could continue the list of “Rugby Villages”, these fan zones installed in the host cities which have been a hit in France since the start of the 2023 World Cup. At each Blues match, tens of thousands join them. And even when Fabien Galthié’s men are not playing, they attract in numbers.
