Receiving Indra Sjafri’s ‘Whisper’, Bima Sakti Coach Crosses Out 6 Diaspora Players from U-17 National Team, Here’s the List

Coach Bima Sakti continues to boost preparations for the U-17 Indonesian National Team which is projected to compete in the U-17 World Cup. Unmitigated, he has dropped a total of 6 diaspora players, aka hereditary players.

Of the several names crossed out, coach Bima received a recommendation, aka ‘whisper’, from Technical Director Frank Wormuth and also the U-24 National Team coach, Indra Sjafri.

It is known that Bima Sakti recently dropped a diaspora player in Aaron Suitela from the Indonesian U-17 National Team’s training camp (TC) ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The Australian-born player was dropped because it was based on the evaluation results of Bima Sakti and other coaching staff during the training camp.

With the removal of Aaron Suitela, there is only one player remaining who is still registered ahead of the training camp in Germany, namely Welber Jardim.

Until now, the player of Brazilian descent has not joined the Indonesian U-17 national team squad. But his performance itself is claimed to be able to enchant the Bima Sakti coaching team.

Aaron Suitela’s removal adds to the long list of players who have been dropped by Bima Sakti from the U-17 Indonesian National Team.

Obtained from Bolatimeshere is a list of diaspora players dropped by Bima Sakti:

1. Mahesa Ekayanto

Mahesa Ekayanto is a native Indonesian player who is currently living and working in the Netherlands with the FC Dordrecht academy.

This player, who is only 16 years old, was dropped by Bima Sakti during the first selection. After being crossed out, he also vented on social media Instagram @mahesa_ekayanto.

2. Madrid Augusta

Not only Mahesa Ekayanto, the first selection held by Bima Sakti also won another diaspora player, namely Madrid Augusta.

Madrid Augusta had to be dropped by Bima Sakti even though he has an interesting track record, where he is currently working in the Netherlands with AFC 34.

3. Staffan Qabiel Horito

Staffan Qabiel Horito is a native Indonesian player who is also currently active abroad, specifically in Spain with Academy Sant Cugat.

Even though he played and studied abroad, this Jakarta-born player was still removed by Bima Sakti from the selection for the U-17 Indonesian National Team.

4. Igor Arungbumi Sanders

The good work of diaspora players abroad also continues with Igor Arungbumi Sanders, who has a career in the Netherlands with FC Eindhoven U-17.

However, the performance of the player who is also good at playing futsal did not make Bima Sakti show favoritism and still removed him from the selection for the U-17 Indonesian National Team.

5. Althaf Fawwaz Khan

Having a track record of studying at the Barcelona academy does not mean that Althaf Fawwaz Khan’s name will get a golden ticket to appear at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The player who was born in Bandung 16 years ago was still dropped by Bima Sakti even though he has a label as one of the players at the world’s top academy.

6. Aaron Nathan

From Germany, there is another Indonesian diaspora player, namely Aaron Nathan Ang, who has a career with the FC Nottingen U-18 youth team.

Instead of stealing Bima Sakti’s attention, Aaron Nathan Ang became the first name to be dropped from the selection for the U-17 Indonesian National Team for the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
