The Raiders Tirol have hired Dominik Bauer as their new head coach for the Austrian Football League (AFL). The 30-year-old most recently worked for the Innsbruck team in the European League of Football (ELF) as offensive line coach and run game coordinator.
“I am very pleased to be able to take advantage of this opportunity and would like to thank the decision-makers for their trust,” said neo-coach Bauer. “The potential of the team convinced me to take this step and embark on a new chapter together. We have a lot of work to do.”
Bauer had also played for the Raiders himself. Almost two weeks ago, the club parted ways with head coach Kevin Herron after missing the ELF play-offs.
