Preparations Complete for the 75th National Evita Games in Mar del Plata

Everything is now ready for the 75th edition of the National Evita Games, which will take place in Mar del Plata from September 25 to 30, and will bring together 25,000 athletes from all Argentine provinces and CABA in youth categories and adapted sports.

For this 2023 edition, the 75th anniversary of the most popular sports competition in our country, there will be 40 sports disciplines in youth sports: Aquathlon, Athletics, Badminton, 5 vs 5 Basketball, Boxing, Canoeing, Basketball, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Fencing, Football, Soccer 7, Futsal, Artistic gymnastics, Trampoline gymnastics, Rhythmic gymnastics, Handball, Beach handball, Field hockey, Judo, Karate, Olympic lifting, Wrestling, Swimming, Artistic swimming, Optimist, Paddle tennis, Figure skating, Skate running, Paddle Ball, Rugby, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Shooting, Archery, Triathlon, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Windsurfing.

Adapted sport competes in 12 sports disciplines: Athletics, Badminton, 3 vs 3 Basketball, Boccia, Soccer 3, Goalball, Swimming, Powerlifting, Tennis, Table Tennis, Sitting Volleyball and Archery.

Our delegation has 996 members, including athletes, coaches, organization teachers, support and logistics personnel, transportation and press. With a total of 19 groups, The San Juan delegation will leave next Sunday the 24th at noon, from the door of the Aldo Cantoni stadium.

Previously, teachers from the Community Sports Directorate held a total of 19 meetings with the parents of children traveling to Mar del Plata, to coordinate all aspects inherent to this event. These meetings were held in the Dante Pantuso room of the Aldo Cantoni Stadium and were directed by the Director of Sports in the Community, Prof. Isabel Zárate.
