Potential Successor for Laurent Blanc: Gennaro Gattuso Emerges as Contender for Olympique Lyonnais

Laurent Blanc has not yet been officially fired, but his hours are numbered. Since the heavy defeat suffered against Paris Saint-Germain, at Groupama Stadium (1-4), the management of Olympique Lyonnais has been working to find a successor to Laurent Blanc, who arrived less than a year ago. Many names of replacements have already come out, such as those of Marcelo Gallardo, Thiago Motta, Will Still or even Graham Potter, but all have refused to join OL. For various reasons.

Discussions between Gennaro Gattuso’s entourage and the OL board are planned in the coming days.
