Postponed Matches in Ligue 1 Mobilis Due to CAF Competitions

The Paradou AC-USM Algiers and US Souf-CR Belouizdad meetings counting for the first day of the Ligue 1 Mobilis championship season 2023-2024, which kickoff is scheduled for September 15, have been postponed due to participation of the two Algerian clubs in CAF competitions.

This was announced last Thursday by the Professional Football League (LFP). So, the match Paradou AC-USM Algiers is postponed to Wednesday September 27 at 4:00 p.m., while the meeting US Souf-CR Belouizdad will be played on Wednesday October 4 at 4:00 p.m., specifies the same source.

In passing, it is important to remember that theUSMA will begin the new 2023-2024 season, facing the Egyptian team ofAl Ahly in African Super Cup September 15 at 7:00 p.m. (Algerian time) at stade King Fahd in the city of Taif (Saudi Arabia). Al-Ahly SC won the Champions Leagueat the expense of Wydad Casablanca (go: 2-1, return: 1-1), while theUSMA won the first continental title in its history, by winning the CAF Confederation Cup against the Tanzanians of Young Africans (go: 2-1, return: 0-1).

Furthermore and for its part, the CRBreigning Algerian champion, will face the Sierra Leonean team of Bo Rangers in the second preliminary round of the Champions League from CAF.
