Polisportiva Sieci, a great resource for the area with 50 years of history and glory. This weekend will be two days of celebration and sporting events, at the facilities and headquarters in via dei Mandorli, with tournaments, recreational activities, a play area for young athletes and a meeting place for those who have traced the history of the club. “We are present in seven disciplines – states the president of Polisportiva Sieci, Daniele Donnini – such as basketball, football, volleyball, skating, rugby, tennis and archery. We boast over 500 members and have achieved important results in various disciplines. It exists then an equally important social part because we want to be a point of reference for the whole community”. The ‘Sports Festival’ takes place at the sports facilities today and tomorrow. The jewel in the crown is the presentation of all the teams of the various sports scheduled for tomorrow starting at 6.30 pm and preceded at 5 pm by the performance of the 80 ice skating athletes. Of note is the interregional mini moto trophy which takes place in Piazza Aldo Moro. In the exhibition spaces of the headquarters and the bar there is a characteristic exhibition on the past of the Giallorossi club and a particular corner dedicated to the memory of Maurilio Prini, winner of the first scudetto with the Fiorentina shirt and one of the founders of the Polisportiva.
