While the favorite of the quinté, Houston Tuilerie (No. 9), galloped from the start, his opponents, notably Hove Pont Vautier, (No. 12) took the opportunity to highlight themselves during the he event contested on the Gravelle plateau. François Lagadeuc’s partner did not have to exert his talent in the final phase of the 2,850 m imposed on the long track. Installed in the lead halfway up, the resident of Fabrice Souloy imposed himself very surely, leaving no chance to his rivals. “He often runs well when he is fresh,” confided the winning driver. He’s a good horse who, unfortunately, doesn’t keep his top form for very long but he has quality. »

Despite a good defense, Frenchy Berry (n° 7) had to admit defeat but easily retained the first place at the expense of Gadsem (n° 8), who had nevertheless shown himself to be at fault at the start of the course. Courageous from one end of the course to the other, Falco de Bellande (n° 4) failed at the foot of the podium and was ahead of Génialissime (n° 1).
