Ulm – A dispute between a passenger and a conductor escalated on a night train in Ulm. As the police announced on Thursday, the two had an altercation shortly after midnight.
Witnesses saw the passenger kick the conductor and hit him with a briefcase. The conductor then brought the attacker to the ground with a judo throw.
Both are now being investigated for assault. Nobody got hurt. It is not known what the dispute was about. The train towards Hamburg-Altona was delayed by five minutes because of the incident. (dpa)
