24 (record)
The record number of Grand Slam titles. He equaled the absolute record held by Australian Margaret Court since the 1973 US Open. By winning his third Roland-Garros in June, he became the sole record holder among men with one length ahead of Nadal and three on Federer.
In detail, he has won the Australian Open ten times (record), Wimbledon seven times (one short of Federer’s record eight titles), the US Open four times (Federer, Sampras and Connors have the record with five) and three times at Roland Garros (Nadal holds the staggering record of 14 titles there).

He is the only player in history to have won each of the four Grand Slam tournaments at least three times. Roy Emerson, Rod Laver and Rafael Nadal have won them at least twice each, Roger Federer has only won Roland-Garros once. Among the women, Margaret Court, Steffi Graf and Serena Williams also have at least three times each Major to their name.
Djokovic is also one of only three players in history to have achieved the Grand Slam over two years (2015-2016) with Donald Budge and Rod Laver.
390 (record)
The number of weeks spent at world No. 1. Ranked second at the ATP in New York, he will begin his 390th week at the top of the hierarchy on Monday.
36 (record)
The number of Grand Slam finals played, clearly ahead of Federer (31) and Nadal (30) among men, but also ahead of Chris Evert (34) among women.
10 (record)
The number of finals played – and all won – at the Australian Open. He also played ten at the US Open, tying Bill Tilden’s record, and won four. He also has nine at Wimbledon where only Federer has done better (12). Nadal played 14 at Roland Garros and won them all.
4
He is the only player to have won three of the four Grand Slam tournaments four times in one season (2011, 2015, 2021, 2023). He also reached the finals of the four Majors of the season for the third time (2015, 2021, 2023).
88
The number of matches won at the US Open, behind Federer (89) and Connors (98). He won 91 at Wimbledon where the record is held by Federer (105). He also has 89 (record) at the Australian Open. Nadal holds the record for victories in a single Major with 112 at Roland Garros where he is second with 92.
361
The number of Grand Slam matches won. Federer is still a little ahead (369).
96
The number of tournaments won on the main circuit. 103 for Federer, 92 for Nadal, but the record is held by Jimmy Connors (109).
1076
The number of matches won on the circuit, still far behind Connors’ record (1274). Three other players have surpassed the 1000 victory mark: Federer (1251), Lendl (1068) and Nadal (1068).
7
The number of years finished world No. 1, one better than his idol Pete Sampras. Federer and Rafael Nadal have 5.
39 (record)
The number of titles in Masters 1000. Djokovic is also the only player to have won all nine tournaments in this category just below the Majors, and moreover several times.

6 (record)
The number of end-of-year Masters. He equaled Federer’s record last November in Turin in this closing tournament which brings together the eight best players of the season each year.
15 (record)
The number of tie-breaks won in a row in Grand Slams. He established this record (three better than Sampras’ old record) during his semi-final at Wimbledon against Jannik Sinner. A statistic which proves his psychological influence over his opponents. The last to have taken a decisive game from him in a Major until then was the Frenchman Enzo Couacaud in the second round of the last Australian Open. In the final at Wimbledon, Carlos Alcaraz ended the series.
36 years and 111 days (record)
HE became on Sunday the oldest winner of the US Open in the Open era (since 1968), ahead of Ken Rosewall who was 35 years old in 1970. In June, he had already become at 36 years and 20 days the oldest player aged to win Roland-Garros, ahead of Nadal who was 36 years and 2 days old last year. The oldest Grand Slam is Rosewall who was 37 years and 2 months at the 1972 Australian Open.
