A total of nine candidates from different disciplines participate as candidates for Queen of the Cantonal Sports League of Quevedo, LDCQ.
The event will be attended by the president of the institution, Luis Vera Quinotoa; board members; administrative, technical and service personnel; athletes and parents.
The contest will be today, starting at 3:00 p.m., at the Wellington Chang Lua Coliseum.
Aspirants
The participants are: Cristel Villacres (judo), Victoria Nunez (karate), Alexa Onofre (chess), Alhanys Valverde (track and field), Aida Andrade (Olympic wrestling), Karla Barco (football), Jassury Arboleda (basketball), Denisse Mora (swimming) and Ariana Castro (table tennis). Raisa Cáceres, vice president of the League, stated that this event is already a tradition and its objective is to strengthen ties of friendship between athletes, as well as parents and managers.
