Net. Beyond Networks: Combining Sports and Society in Perugia

Tennis, padel, pickleball, badminton and table tennis. Nothing will be missing in the three days in Perugia, from today to Sunday, on the occasion of the “Net. Beyond networks” project, created by the Italian Sports Center (Csi) and US Acli.


An initiative funded by Sport and Health and the Department for Sport. The last games of a project that combines sport and society will thus take place in Umbria, shining a spotlight on topics such as fake news, cyberbullying, the dark web and hate speech.


In fact, if on the one hand, at the Pattol Club in Ponte Pattoli (Perugia), 24 teams will take to the field (half from the CSI and half from the US Acli), each involved in tournaments in two of the five racket disciplines envisaged in the project, on the On the other hand, there will be the promotion of awareness-raising activities and testimonies on the topics of bullying and cyberbullying. In this regard, it will also be the opportunity to deliver the prize plaques to the two winning companies (Teramo For Tennis Team of the Csi and Bonacossa Milano for US Acli) for the best interviews of the video contest proposed on the topic of bullying and cyberbullying in sport as part of the Giffoni Experience.
