More medals for Judo from Mexico in Panamerican – Oceania Championships Calgary 2023

The Junior team of the Mexican Judo Team managed to win four medals at the Panamerican – Oceania Championships 2023, which takes place in Calgary, Canada, where 104 competitors from 12 nations from two continents attended.

All the medals won by the national representatives were bronze, while five other Mexican athletes reached 5th place, while another three placed in 7th position, in this event that awarded ranking points from the International Judo Federation (IJF). ).

The results of the medals won by the Mexicans were announced by the Mexican Judo Federation (FMJ), after they were confirmed in the results list.

In this way, the bronze medal winners were Abril Martínez, -52 kg; Eduardo Sagastegui, -60 kg; Jessica Gómez, +78 kg; and Jeremy Olivares -90 kg.

Regarding those who occupied 5th place, they are Suri Dayana Montes Perez, -52 kg; Frida Maya, -57; Naomi Pozo Flores, -63 kg; José Icelo, -66 kg; and José Ramírez, -81 kg; while those in 70th place were Sherlyn Caiseros, -57 kg; José Quinta, -60 kg; and Marco Aurelio Concha Aranda, -81 kg.
