Now, having collected the obvious yes of the PD (the outcome of the directive was sufficiently obvious), for Mirko DiBernardo a new phase opens, just as delicate but hopefully less complicated than the previous one: redesign the City Council.
From tomorrow the mayor has opened the consultations with the majority political forces who will once again be called to go up to Palazzo Consoli: the mayor, who must replace Consoli and who must in any case respect the agreement with the Ghelfi list which provides for the entry into the Executive of one of his members, will ask all to express two names for the Junta. A man’s name and a woman’s name.
What could come out of it is a reshuffle (how large we will eventually see) of the Giunta, with some news on the way. Once that is done, all that remains is to locate the new deputy mayor: that Di Bernardo’s deputy is a woman, unlike the women’s quotas in the Executive, is not an obligation but a good practice. And the mayor intends to respect it.
