The third set became a physical test. Trevisan does not lower his intensity and his consistency forced Jabeur to always play one more ball. The wear and tear caused the Tunisian to ask for medical time to get massages and catch her breath. In the sixth game of the set, Trevisan achieved a break that placed her 4-2 on the scoreboard. However, despite the fatigue, Jabeur put up a fight and quickly recovered, giving it up to score 3-4. Finally, Martina Trevisan’s tennis ended up prevailing, executed with great clarity and strategy, she took the defining set 6-3.
