María Fernanda is the first athlete in the region to be located globally in combat sports.

Visual judoka from Quindío, María Fernanda Zapata Manjarrés, finished in box 14 after her participation in the IBSA World Games –acronym in English of the International Federation of Sports for the Blind-.
