Center Christian Wood, who was a free agent, accepted a two-year offer from the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
At least that’s what journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, of the ESPN network, reports.
Wood, who is 6-foot-9, averaged 16.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in 2022-23 in 67 games played for the Dallas Mavericks.
Selected 45th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, Wood briefly played in Philadelphia, Charlotte, Milwaukee, New Orleans and Detroit before enjoying his career-best moments with the Houston Rockets.
For his entire career, the 27-year-old athlete averages 14.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks, all in 289 games.
