Andrés Manuel López confirmed that he will attend, today, Monday, at 10:00 in the morning in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico, to accompany the PRI governor, Alfredo del Mazo, to render his Sixth and last Government Report.
During his morning conference, the president recognized the Mexican president.

“Despite having different political origins, we have understood each other very well, works have been done to benefit the people in the State of Mexico, which is the most important thing,” said the president.
He stressed that both may have different partisan origins, but as rulers they must always think of the people.
“There can be no partisan factions. We have to work together and we have achieved it because Alfredo del Mazo has been very respectful. He has not confused things, he has not made politicking, never a statement against the federal government. He has been very respectful and We appreciate and acknowledge that we have not had any obstacles to work in the State of Mexico.
“Now that an interpretation was presented so that we would not distribute the free textbooks, he made the decision that the interpretation of the lawyers of the Ministry of Public Education be accepted and that the free textbooks will be delivered in the State of Mexico In short, I have a lot to thank (del Mazo), for recognizing the governor of the State of Mexico, regardless of the fact that it is a great state with a hard-working people,” said the president.
He stressed that to complement his visit to the Alfredo del Mazo report, there will be Delfina Gómez, the new governor-elect of that entity and a politician emanating from Morena.
He also informed that Delfina Gómez will take office on September 15 and that by that date she will be at the inauguration of the Toluca-Mexico City interurban train, which will be called “Insurgent Train” in recognition of the father of the nation Miguel Gentleman.
During the conference, López Obrador was asked if he is going to invite del Mazo to occupy a Mexican embassy abroad or to hold any public office, however, he said that he does not know what projects he has in mind.
