For US tennis fans, there will be an absolute top duel between Tommy Paul (ATP No. 14) and Ben Shelton (ATP No. 47) on the first Sunday of the tournament. While 20-year-old Shelton has Argentinian Pedro Cachin, Austrian Dominic Thiem and Russian Aslan Karatsev on his hit list, Paul defeated Italian Stefano Travaglia, Russian Roman Safiullin and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
