Lincoln District Shines with 12 Medals at the 2023 Buenos Aires Games

The Municipality of Lincoln reports this noon concluded what was an excellent participation of the local delegation in the 2023 Buenos Aires Games. Throughout the competition in Mar del Plata, Lincoln achieved a total of 12 medals between sports and cultural disciplines. The 32nd edition of the most important tournament for youth and seniors in the province said goodbye until next year with the District of Lincoln sealing a more than memorable performance.

In an edition where each day of competition found a Linqueño on the podium, the delegation is preparing to return to Lincoln with 12 medals in its record: 4 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze.

The Lincoln District delegation arrived in “La Feliz” with almost 150 classified among the different sports and cultural disciplines in the youth, senior and PWD categories.

In addition to the results reflected in medals, the great performances in the sporting and cultural field were highlighted – in which Lincoln was present in more than 25 different disciplines – as well as the good behavior and camaraderie expressed during the five days of stay.
