Lazio wants to make another attempt for Mats Wieffer next year. That reports Sports Courier.
Wieffer was already linked to the Italian club last summer, but remained in Rotterdam. According to Sky Italia Lazio was prepared to make an offer of fifteen million euros for the midfielder. Feyenoord would like at least ten million euros more for the Dutch international.
Wieffer came over from Excelsior a year ago and made his breakthrough at De Kuip unprecedentedly quickly. He still has a contract until mid-2027.
