For the first time since the creation of the BCVT, the badminton club of La Tour-du-Pin, team 1 of the interclub championship playing in Departmental 1, is moving up to the pre-regional division. “Even if it is often an individual sport, it is a team that must be congratulated,” rejoices the BCVT.
Each day consists of five matches: a women’s singles, a men’s singles, a women’s doubles, a men’s doubles and a mixed doubles. The objective for the team will initially be to maintain itself at this level. The BCVT can count on a strong dynamic on the side of its adult section.
No less than five teams (40 players) are registered in the various Departmental championships. It is therefore a whole club which is progressing and which is rewarded by this accession.
To contribute to this, a new coach/player, Lucas Chiomento has just joined the BCVT. It will help team 1 achieve its goals and already offers training for all levels, from 7 years old.
