La Roda City Council Launches Multisport Program for Children Age Four to Six

The La Roda City Council launched another edition of the Multisport program, aimed at children between four and six years old.

This was announced at a press conference by the Sports Councilor, Javier Escribano, and the head of the Sports Office, Diego Berruga. Both explained the characteristics of this new course and highlighted the wide diversity of disciplines offered in this new season that will begin in the first week of October and will last until May 30, 2024.

Next Monday the collection of applications will begin, which can be obtained through the municipal website and social networks, Sports office and via WhatsApp, ending the deadline on the 20th of this month. Registrations must be formalized between the 25th and 29th, with an annual price of 60 euros per registration having been established, including sports insurance.

The program, which is carried out thanks to the collaboration of local sports clubs and schools, to whom the City Council wanted to thank their participation and help, presents a very diverse offer of disciplines in this first contact with sport at an early age. , namely: judo, swimming, basketball, football, chess, athletics, volleyball, tennis and triathlon.

Classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4 to 5 p.m., in the facilities of the Antonio Monsalve pavilion, although students will also visit other municipal facilities depending on the activity to be practiced (heated swimming pool, chess club facilities or football field).

In total there will be nine sports that the little ones in the house will practice thanks to this municipal program that is designed to facilitate, from an early age, a first contact with sport in general and, in this case, with nine disciplines in particular.
