Senonches. AT THE LOGE DES BOIS STABLE WORKFORCE.
The La Loge-des-Bois middle school in Senonches has a stable workforce, with 278 students, at the start of the school year in September 2023.
At the head of the establishment, the principal Juliette Souchet ensures her third return. “Our 278 students will be divided into eleven classes, including two third-grade classes,” she says.
The educational team sets as a priority the pursuit of the fight against harassment and prevention.
Two more hours of sport
The other ambition is to develop the well-being of students and their personal fulfillment in the artistic and cultural field. In addition, students will benefit from two additional hours of sports per week. And this in collaboration with the sports department of the town hall of Senonches, in particular Jérôme Le Meurt, for badminton and Philippe Gilet for judo. These two hours will take place on Thursday during school time.
New at the Loge des Bois, there will be others. In the Socrate room, dedicated to educational support, students will work in small groups as well as students and will be accompanied by teachers. An action financed by the Departmental Council. In the “La Ruche” room, students will learn to work independently and cooperatively.
One of the areas of the establishment is dedicated to solidarity projects. This space was already used last year for the No to Harassment Ambassadors.
Some future projects such as the establishment of a FabLab to allow students to carry out their technical and scientific projects in 3D.
Juliette Souchet and her teaching team want to make this college a place of life. Cultural projects, trips to Spain and Germany, are still relevant. Apart from tutoring sessions, you can also discover theater and cinema.
The principal of the Loge des Bois, is satisfied with the results of the patent which were of the order of 93% success. It is also happy to be able to welcome half-boarders in a school restaurant completely renovated by the Departmental Council.
This year the college welcomes a new CPE, Annabelle Petit and two new teachers: one in visual arts and the other in music education.
Initiative
Supplies. Séverine Guillot, the secretary, organized orders for school supplies at the end of the year. Parents have therefore been invited to collect them before the start of the school year, which will take place on Monday 4 September at 8 am for the 6th year and Tuesday 5 for all the other classes.
