Juventus Turin is still deep in the red. As Exor, the Agnelli family’s holding company, announced on Wednesday, Italy’s record football champions posted a loss of 81 million euros in the second half of the past 2022/23 financial year. The loss for the entire year amounts to just over 110 million euros. The former series champion only finished last season in seventh place after a point deduction.
UEFA excluded the club from the European Cup due to violations of financial regulations. In the 2021/22 financial year, the club reported a loss of almost 240 million euros. Former Juventus president Andrea Agnelli was banned and fined in July for allegedly fudging the books under his leadership during the pandemic.
