On Sunday, the two youngsters Joel Schweizer (U9) and Leonhard Kellenberger (U11) prevailed and won their weight group. Azita Bold, Florence Kellenberger and Sila Al Ali won 2 medals each. In addition to their normal age category, they also competed in the next higher age category and won either silver and/or bronze. It was a special moment, especially for Azita Bold. She was on the podium for the first time in the U18 category and collected important points for the Swiss Championships. With Til Schwarz (U15, -40kg) and Olivia Tangl (U11), two young judokas were able to win silver.
Nika Varazashvili (Elite, -73kg), Spencer Reichardt (U18, -60kg), Ivan Matej Gjorgiev (U18, -50kg), Nevio Steudler (U13, -50kg) and Constantin Kellenberger (U9) all took 3rd place. The Judo Club St.Gallen_Gossau thus placed 16th in the medal table out of over 100 participating clubs from 5 countries.
